Delta Force has various maps. Some people may like certain maps, and some may prefer a map like Space City. I would say this is one of the most challenging and intricate map I came across. Of course, being a Delta Force map, it requires strategic thinking and precise execution. However, there is some extra spice to this map.  Below is a guide that I have compiled after gameplay experiences. The guide will surely help you navigate this complex environment successfully.

Preparation for Space City

My grandmom used to say: always be prepared. Okay, she used to say it for school but still we have to prepared for all things in life. This includes going out in the Space City and getting a victory. Before entering Space City, prepare by understanding the map’s entry requirements:

• Loadout Value: The entry loadout must equal at least 350k. This includes your helmet, ballistic vest, backpack, chest rig, and three weapons. Crucially, ammunition and medical supplies do not contribute to this value, so plan your spending wisely.
• Ammunition and Supplies: Although they don’t count towards the entry value, ensure you carry enough ammunition (consider the cost of 1.5k per bullet) and medical supplies to sustain prolonged engagements.

Strategic Movement and Early Game

• Spawn Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with spawn points as Space City features aggressive spawn pushing. Obviously, you won’t get this knowledge in early gameplay. So give yourself time and get to know the spawn points. Also, don’t just stand, have immediate movement and quick decision-making.
• Initial Tactics: Avoid lingering after landing. Plan your route and be prepared to engage or evade enemies swiftly.

Navigating Space City

Space City’s layout can make or break your game:

• Key Cards: Invest in key cards like Eastern Bridge, Western Gate, and Employee Passage. These cards open up safer, alternative routes which are critical for moving around the city efficiently and avoiding choke points.
• Choke Points and Navigation: Without key cards, all teams converge at Central Bridge, a major choke point. Key cards allow you to bypass this area, offering strategic advantages in movement and engagement.

Combat and Survival

• Engagement Strategy: Use the terrain to your advantage. High-ground positions, especially near bridges, can be pivotal. Control these areas to dominate enemy movements.
• Alternative Routes: Utilize employee passages and other less-known paths to flank or escape from opponents, enhancing your chances of survival and successful extraction.

Advanced Tips for Space City

• Economic Efficiency: Remember that while setting up for entry, spending on gear counts towards your total but not consumables. This allows for budget optimizations in your loadout.
• Leveraging Key Cards: Demonstrating their utility, key cards not only save lives but also offer lucrative extraction opportunities by opening up new paths and strategic vantage points.

Endgame and Extraction

• Extracting Successfully: Plan your extracts meticulously. With the right key cards and knowledge of the map, navigate towards extraction points using less contested routes.
• Team Coordination: Coordinate with your team to cover multiple potential enemy approaches during extraction. This reduces surprises and enhances team survival.

Space City requires strategic foresight, tactical execution, and team coordination.
