The beauty of Delta Force is that it can be played in various modes. For starters, they can opt for the Easy Mode, where they will be learning about general mechanics while earning assets. Those who feel a bit more confident can opt for a Standard Mode which is the most common mode to play. In this mode, players will find harder battles but for a much better loot.
Meanwhile, the competitive players also used to have a Hard Mode option. This would result in the best loot possible. Unfortunately, it has not been available for a long time in the game.
Players have been constantly asking the developer about the availability of the Hard Mode. Well, we have received some updates on the official Discord channel.
Answering a question regarding Hard Mode, a Delta Force operations representative replied that the launch of Hard Mode still needs to be determined. The main reason for it to be shut down is the lack of players with a substantial amount of assets. The representative further explains that if they open Hard More in the current situation, players will have to face a long wait time.
The representative reassured players the team is constantly monitoring the data. Once the conditions are met, the Hard Mode will be open to players.
How neglecting Hard Mode can ruin the game mechanics?
Okay, hear me out. You are a top player having plenty of assets. You can buy golden armor and the best weapon there is. Now you do not have the choice for Hard Mode. What would you do? You will have only two options to opt for Easy or Standard. If you go Easy Mode, you will be competing against players who may not even have blue-tier stuff and you can eliminate them easily.
This ends up ruining the whole game’s mechanics for every kind of player. A potential solution to this problem could be capping green ammo and armor in Easy, purple tier in Normal, and gold/red tier in Hard Mode. Though this is a very basic solution, this could turn out to normalize the game.
The developer should come up with a solution to this problem. For now, it seems the main focus is to bring the game successfully on the remaining platforms: mobile and consoles. The developer has already delayed the mobile launch, though we hope to see some positive work soon.
